A taste of Hunza
Breakfast is complimentary with every stay and it is genuinely local: Hunza bread baked that morning, homemade apricot jam from the orchard below the hotel, organic mountain tea, and whatever fruit the season is giving — mulberries in June, apricots in July, apples and walnuts by September.
For lunch and dinner we work with restaurants we actually eat at ourselves, a few minutes away, serving traditional Hunza dishes alongside familiar Pakistani cooking.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 2:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am. Arriving on the night bus from Islamabad? Tell us and we will have a room ready early at no extra cost, subject to availability.
When is breakfast served?
7:30 am to 10:30 am on the terrace, included with every room. If you are leaving before dawn for Khunjerab, we will pack it to take with you.
Can I book over WhatsApp?
Yes, and most guests do. Message +92 355 5972684 with your dates and group size. You will get a reply from the family, usually within a few hours.
Which is the nearest airport?
Gilgit Airport is roughly two and a half hours by road. Skardu is a longer alternative. Most guests drive up the Karakoram Highway from Islamabad – about 14 to 16 hours, and a beautiful drive in daylight.
When is the best time to visit Hunza?
April for blossom, May to October for clear mountain weather and open passes, and late October for the autumn colour. Winters are quiet, cold and startlingly clear.
Do you have parking, and is the road accessible?
Free parking on site, and the link road up from the Karakoram Highway is paved the whole way. A normal car is fine.
